What time is check-in and checkout?: Check-in time is 3 PM and check-out time is 12 PM. If you arrive prior to 3 PM, and we have your room available, we will check you in immediately. We will gladly store your bags should your room not be available. Late check-outs are based on availability. Please check with our Front Desk when you arrive or call 619.298.0511.
What number do I use to send a fax to a guest at the hotel?: Hotel guest faxes should be sent to 619.298.9793.
How far is the hotel from the airport?: The Handlery Hotel and Resort is approximately six miles or about ten minutes from San Diego International Airport.
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?: For driving directions to the hotel, see the Location section on the site.
Do you have parking?: Yes, we have a large gated parking lot. We can accommodate recreational vehicles if you're traveling across the state and staying with us for the evening.
Is there a charge for parking?: $12.00 per day for registered overnight guests with unlimited in and out privileges. We apply your parking costs to your guestroom account. Parking fee is subject to change.
Do your rooms have cable TV and movies?: Yes, we have cable TV, a variety of in-room pay-per-view movies and Nintendo 64.
Do your rooms have refrigerators?: Yes, all of our rooms have mini refrigerators, for you to stock as you please.
Do you have high-speed Internet access?: Yes, we have high-speed wireless Internet access in all guestrooms and common areas of the hotel. Currently the charge is $9.95 per day. Rate is subject to change.
Do you have a gift shop in the hotel?: Yes. Our Gift Shop has a complete assortment of local souvenirs, sporting apparel and an array of convenience items and is located right off the lobby.
Do you have a salon in the hotel?: Yes. We have an on-premise, full-service hair and nail salon, offering cuts, perms, tints, weaves and highlights. The nail stylist is available for manicures and pedicures. The hours vary, and appointments are strongly suggested.
Is there shopping or dining near the hotel?: Yes. Fashion Valley Mall, San Diego's largest shopping complex, is just around the corner and there are many fine nightclubs, restaurants and activities within easy walking distance of the Hotel. Do you have someone who can make dinner reservations, get tickets for events, provide suggestions for activities, etc.?: Yes. Our staff is trained in answering all the questions you may have regarding things to do and places to eat. Contact the front desk for more information at 619.298.0511 x477. In addition, Premier Ticketing Agency is located on the property. They sell tickets to concerts, sporting events, theater and many other special events. Do you provide babysitting services?: Yes. We can recommend bonded babysitting services through our front desk. Babysitting rates vary per hour, depending on day of the week and number of children. Call the front desk at 619.298.0511 x477 for rates and availability.

Is there a charge for the use of the Poolside Fitness Room?: No. The Fitness Center is free to all guests and is open from 6 a.m. - 11 p.m.
What type of exercise equipment do you have?: Our newly updated fitness center features new LifeFitness treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, and weight machines overlooking our pool.
