Can you provide audio/visual equipment for meetings? What time is check-in and checkout?
Normal check-in time is 3 PM and normal check-out is 12 PM. If you
arrive prior to 3 PM, and we have a room available, we will check
you in immediately. During very busy times, we are always happy
to store your bags should your room not be available. Often, we
can accommodate extensions to our checkout time, should your flight
be leaving later in the day. To arrange other times please contact

The Handlery Union Square Hotel is approximately 12 miles or 20
- 30 minutes from the San Francisco International Airport, 15 miles
or 30 - 40 minutes from the Oakland Airport and 50 miles or 1 hour
from the San Jose Airport.
Do you provide a shuttle to and from the airport?
We don't provide shuttle service, however Super Shuttles, Airporters
and taxis are readily available. How do I get to the Hotel from the airport?

Do you have parking?
Yes, we have covered parking on-site with valet service. Is there a charge for parking?
The current charge of $36 per day is one of the lowest for a downtown hotel and even includes free in and out privileges. Rates for oversized vehicles are an additional $9.
Do your rooms have cable TV and movies?
Yes, we have cable TV, a variety of in-room pay-per-view movies
and Nintendo 64. Do your rooms have refrigerators?
Yes, all of our rooms have mini refrigerators. Can I connect my laptop to the Internet from
my guestroom?
Yes you can. We have high-speed wireless Internet access in all guestrooms.
Do you have a gift shop in the hotel?
Yes we do. Our brand new gift shop offers an array of gifts, sundries and personal care items and is open daily for your convenience. Do you have a salon in the hotel?
We have an old-fashioned barbershop open Tuesday through Saturday,
and appointments can be made by calling 415-362-2337. We can also
recommend numerous salons within easy walking distance from the
hotel. Is there shopping or dining near the hotel?
Yes. There are many fine stores, nightclubs and restaurants within
walking distance to The Handlery Union Square Hotel. Check out the

Yes we do. Our Chief Concierge and his staff
know everything there is to know about San Francisco and the surrounding
area and can help make dinner reservations, get tickets for events,

Yes. We can recommend bonded babysitting services through our Concierge.

We have an alliance with Club One Fitness located one and a half
blocks from the Hotel. Discount passes can be purchased from the
Concierge. Do you have a pool?
Yes, we have one of the only outdoor heated pools in downtown San
Francisco. We also have a sauna. Do you have someone there who can help plan
my event?
Yes, we have experienced sales staff that can help with every detail.
